    AnnotationModified nucleoside triphosphates bearing [Ru (bpy)3]2+ and [Os(bpy)3]2+ complexes attached via acetylene linker were prepared by cross-coupling reactions and were further used for incorporation to DNA by polymerase. The metal complexes were used as luminescent or redox label for detection of DNA. Multi-color redox labeling of DNA by four different labels was also developed.
