AnnotationThe significance of this work is related to the possibility of employing ultrasonic irradiation-assisted self-assembly of a diversity of bridged building blocks to synthesize nanostructured hybrid microspheres. Bridges containing pendant groups can be employed to generate cavities thatcan be used as hosts of a diversity of organic molecules.
