Představena je problematika vědeckého diskursu sociální koheze. Analyzujeme dvě úrovně obecnosti pojmu soudržnosti: (1) problematika udržování sociálního řádu, (2) studium zabývající se pouze určitými mechanizmy sociální soudržnosti. V závěru je navržen je konceptuální rámec pro studium koheze české společnosti vycházející z teorií občanské integrace. Zahrnuje dimenzi sociálních nerovností a dimenzi kolektivního sociálního kapitálu.

The article focuses on the academic discourse of social cohesion. Two degrees of universality with respect to the use of the concept of social cohesion are identified and analyzed: 1) the creation of social order in general; 2) particular mechanisms of social cohesion. In conclusion, the authors propose a conceptual framework for studying the social cohesion of Czech society broadly based on the civic integration approach. This multidimensional conceptual framework encompasses the dimension of social inequalities and civic rights and the dimension of social capital.
