The contamination of Czech rivers Elbe and Morava by polychlorinated biphenyls and their concentrations in Dreissena polymorpha was studied. The percentage of the chlorinated biphenyl homologues in the rivers is compared with their accumulation in Dreissena polymorpha and discussed from the standpoint of ortho-chlorinated structures.

Byla studována kontaminace českých řek Moravy a Labe polychlorovanými bifenyly a jejich koncentrací v organismu Dreisseny polymorphy. Procentický obsah homologů polychlorovaných bifenylů v řekách byl porovnán s jejich akumulací v organismu Dreisseny polymorphy a to z hlediska ortho-chlorovaných struktur.
