Reversible nanoscale structures are formed in solutions of a pH-sensitive hydrophobic polyelectrolyte, poly(N-methacryloyl-L-valine) or poly(N-methacryloyl-L-phenylalanine), and nonionic surfactant (Brij 98) in the presence of hydrochloric acid.
