The lead time of forecasts is 1-3 hours and the forecasting technique is based on advective-statistical algorithm. Two statistical models, which describe relationships between predictor and predictands; multiple linear regression (MLR) and logistic (LOG) models, are compared and a simple method of transforming probabilistic into a quantitative forecast is presented.
