The paper describes a nowcasting method developed for the warm part of the year and for the territory of the Czech Republic (CR). The lead time of forecasts is 1-3 hours and the forecasting technique is based on advective-statistical algorithm. Two statistical models, which describe relationships between predictor and predictands; multiple linear regression (MLR) and logistic (LOG) models, are compared and a simple method of transforming probabilistic into a quantitative forecast is presented.

Práce se zabývá velmi krátkodobou předpovědí srážek pro teplou polovinu roku a pro území ČR. Délka předpovědi je 1-3 hodiny a k předpovědi je použit statistický advekční model. Dva statistické modely popisující vztah mezi predátory a prediktandy: lineární regresní a logistický model byly porovnány a jednoduchá metoda přepočtu pravděpodobnostní předpovědi na kvantitativní je prezentována.
