It is known that a retarded functional differential equation can be described in terms of generalized differential equations in Banach spaces. For retarded functional differential equations stability concepts are introduced and discussed using known stability results for generalized differential equations. Converse Ljapunov theorems are presented for retarded functional differential equations.

Je známo, že zpožděné funkcionální diferenciální rovnice lze popsat pomocí zobecněných diferenciálních rovnic v Banachových prostorech. Pro zpožděné funkcionální diferenciální rovnice jsou zavedeny pojmy stability a o nich je pojednáno s užitím známých výsledků pro stabilitu zobecněných diferenciálních rovnic. Jsou uvedeny obrácené Ljapunovovy věty pro zpožděné funkcionální diferenciální rovnice.
