Text přibližuje dějiny pojmu fikce v moderní teorii fikce a ukazuje na slabá místa Genettova návrhu v souvislosti s aktuálními návrhy z oblasti teorie možných světů. Zkoumá především problematiku vztahu vypravěče a ontologického režimu narativu.

The text illumines the history of the term fiction in the context of the modern theory of fiction and shows the weak places the Genett´s concept in connection with the actual state in the theory of the possible worlds. It investigates the broad issue of the relation between the narrator´s activity and the ontological status of the narrative.
