(2007). In the present publication, we supported results of Erwin et al. and demonstrated that allergen-specific IgE might not contribute prominently to the level of total IgE. Similar to data from Sweden, cat-specific IgE did not correlate significantly to high total IgE even though cat is a major allergen in Siberia.
