Annotation	Tématem této studie je výzkum šíření kultu sv. Jiří mezi Slovany a syktretismus tohoto kultu se starým předkřesťanským slovanským náboženstvím. Materiál studie je založen na slovanských foklorních písních a legendách a na lingvistických analýzách. Výsledkem práce je částečná rekonstrukce slovanského předkřesťanského jarního mýtu.
Description in English	The study seeks to examine the spreading of the Saint George's cult among the Slavs and the syncretism of this cult and the old pre-Christian Slavic faith. The material of this study is based on Slavic folklore songs and legends and on linguistic analysis. The result of this work is a partial reconstruction of the Slavic pre-Christian spring myth.
