AnnotationSingle-phase induction motor are widely used in industrial applications due to their robustness, reliability and low cost. Nevertheless, they have also some disadvantages, for example ripple torques. The presented paper deals with the analysis of the properties of such machines. The possibility of reducing the pulsating components of the torque is investigated.
