Kniha rozvíjí originální teorii reflektující soudnosti, jež je založena na normativních a kritických konceptech autenticity a exemplárního univerzalismu. Poté je teorie aplikována na téma možností transnacionálních forem vládnutí v postvestfálském kontextu, zvláště co se týče otázek evropské integrace a otázek kosmopolitního vládnutí bez světového státu.

The book develops an original theory of reflective judgment that is based on normative and critical concepts of authenticity and exemplar universalism. Then, the theory is applied to the theme of possibilities of transnational forms of governance in the post-Westphalian context, especially concerning issues of the European integration and issues of cosmopolitan governance without the world state.
