    AnnotationThe magnetic bias arising from by dipolar-like interactions in bi-phase composites consisting of an amorphous (Co0.94Fe0.06)72.5Si12.5B15 ribbon covered by an electroplated layer of crystalline Co85Ni15. After premagnetizing the magnetic hard Co85Ni15 is strong magnetic field the hysteresis loop of the soft magnetic core is shifted towards the direction of the premagnetizing field. This shift is ascribed to magnetostatic field due to uncompensated magnetic poles at the edges of the hard layer.
