AnnotationThe paper deals with the two-dimensional and three dimensional flow patterns for airflow around a heated circular cylinder at the regime of laminar vortex shedding. Present result shows that the frequency data for the parallel- as well as oblique- vor shedding could be successfully collapsed by using the effective Reynolds number concept (kinetic viscosity is computed from an "effective temperature") onto the universal Strouhal-Reynolds numbers curve.
