The European Rail Research Institute (ERRI) prepared a newleaflet for the International Union of Railways (UIC) on thedesign and verification of reinforced and prestressed concreterailway bridges regarding fatigue. The most important principlesof the assessment of both the reinforcement and concreteregarding fatigue are explained in the paper.
