Článek podává přehled současného stavu numerického modelovánív mechanice zemin a hornin. Po stručném úvodu shrnujícímsoučásti numerických modelů v rámci kontinua je pozornostzaměřena na klasifikaci konstitučních (materiálových) vztahů.

A review of the present state of the numerical modelling ofsoils and rocks is given. After a brief introduction, whichsummerizes the basic components of numerical models forcontinuum, the attention is paid to the overview of constitutive(material) models.
