Obsah uranu a thoria v metamorfitech a granitoidech v okolí Temelína je určován především obsahem monazitu a zirkonu. Nejvyšší obsah obou prvků byl nalezen v leukokratních migmatitech podolského komplexu.

Content of uranium and thorium in metamorphic rocks and granitoids of the Temelín area is controlled by their content of monazite and zircon. The highest amount of both elements was found in leucocratic migmatites of the Podolsko complex.
