Five smaller source regions were determined in the Western Bohemian area. The most active region is Nový Kostel. In all individual regions the occurrence of earthquakes have character of swarms. Parameters of earthquakes swarm depend on local geological and tectonic conditions. Seismic activity among individual regions is independent. The most frequent foci deeps is in interval 7-10 km.
