Capsules used in hydraulic pipeline (HCP) are solid bodies comparable in proportion with pipe diameter. Capsules cannot pass through ordinary pumps, special procedure and/or equipment has to be used for their injection and pumping. The first way is based on a bypass scheme. It's advantage is high efficiency and operational pressure. The second way is to use linear motors, the third is special jet pumps designed for HCP. Advantage of jet pumps is continuous movement of capsules and small demand on space. But only a lower efficiency and pressure increment can be reached. The jet pump may prove profitable for injection units or short HPC. The jet pump, designed for HCP are described.
