Annotation
The paper presents the methodology of complete numerical investigation of DC-actuator based linear drives. Analysed is the electromagnetic field, static and dynamic characteristics as well as the temperature rise of their selected parts. Theoretical considerations are supplemented by an example and discussion of the results.
