    The stability constants of the mixed-ligand complexes formed between Cu 2+ , bipyridine or 1,10-phenanthroline, and the dianions of 9-[2-(phosphonomethoxy)ethyl]-8-adenine and 8-[2-(phosphonomethoxy)ethyl]-8-azaadenine were determined by potentiometric pH titrations in aqueous solution.
