The half-life of the K.sub.ă= 5/2.sub.- band-head at 185.7 keV was measured as T.sup.1/2=1073(79) ps, yielding D.sup.o=1.76(8)x10.sub.-2 e.fmand 1.65(6)x10.sub.-2 e.fm for the E1 transitions to the 7/2.sub.+ and 5/2.sub.+ members respectively of the K.sub.ă=5/2.sub.+ groun state band. Furthermore, T.sup.1/2 ó 74 ps andó74 ps were measured for the K.sub.ă = 3/2.sub.+ and 1/2.sub.+ band-heads at 221.4 and 247.6 keV, and T.sup.1/2=503(12) ps and 98(36) ps for the 1/2.sub.- and 3/2.sub.- statesat 554.7 and 593.6 keV, members of the K.sub.ă=1/2.sub.- and3/2.sub.- states at 554.7 and 593.6 keV, members of the K.sub.ă=1/2.sub.- band. The latter results consistently yieldD.sup.o values of the order of 1.1x10.sub.-2 e.fm for threetransitions connecting the K.sub.ă=1/2ń bands. The observedtransistion rates have been interpreted within the quasiparticle-phonon model with the inclusion of Coriolis coupling.
