Induced seismic activity of Ostrava-Karviná coalfield resulted mainly from mining activities within the eastern part. This part of coalfield became a center of general interes of long-term seismological observations and less attention was paid to seismic activity of the other parts of the coalfield. Since 1990 induced seismic events from the coalfield of mines Paskov and Staříč have been detected by stations of the regional seismic polygon DPB Paskov and since 1992 also by stations of network situated in the Frenštát region. The time series of recorded events and their focus plots provide new information related to focal zones which have been investigated in detail yet.
