The article describes the manufacture and testing of a new type of semiconductor laser working at low temperatures (12-100K) in the wavelength range 3200-3300 cm-1. This kind of laser can be tuned in the modal range up to 6 cm-1 and is characterized by a narrow spectral line width (about 7 MHz).
