The diffusion of n-butane, isobutane and ethane in a composite-membrane alumina MFI zeolite has been studied by gas permeation and ZLC technique. Diffusion coefficients of isobutane from ZLC technique are in accordance with those obtained from gas permeation and QENS measurements. For binary mixture ethane-isobutane a marked hindrance of ethane diffusivity due to relative immobile isobutane molecules was found.
