The semi-empirical self-consistent tight-binding model of ammonia and hydrogen adsorption at Co(0001) and small Co clusters is used to study chemisorption role in surface magnetism.Chemical reactions and charge-transfer processes in the system CO22+ + D2 were investigated in crossed-beam scattering experiments.
