AnnotationStructure and stability of plasma flow in the region upstream of anode attachment was investigated. Fourier spectra of oscillations at various positions along the jet showthat the second and third harmonics of the basic frequency appear with increasing distance from the nozzle. The shape of isophotes of jet images obtained by a CCD camera corresponds to sausage instability, i.e. it does not depend on azimuthal co-ordinate.
