Language eng - English Country GB - United Kingdom Keywords polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons ; occupational exposure ; biomarkers of exposure Subject RIV EB - Genetics ; Molecular Biology CEZ AV0Z5039906 - UEM-P Annotation The use of different biomarkers for occupational exposure to carcinogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (coke-oven workers) was assessed. As sensitive biomarkers of exposure were evaluated metabolite 1-OH-pyrene in urine, DNA adducts by 32P-postlabeling, as biomarkers of effects chromosomal aberrations and SCE, as biomarkers of susceptibility CYP1A1 Ile/Val and MspI polymorphisms.
