Our mathematical analysis of K+ accumulation in the vicinity of glial cells correlates with the experimental data and reveal sa more "compact" ECS volume around oligodendrocytes than around astrocytes. Such a difference may affect the diffusion of neuuroactive substances in the nervous tissue.
