Measurement were done in the beginning of August 2000 by gas exchange method using infrared gas analyser. Stem temperature was measured with a copper-constantan thermocouples insetedin the cambium layer of the stems. No statistical differences was found in stem woody-tissue respiration rate and in the total amount of stem woody-tissue respiration between ambient and elevated conditions.
