The text deals with the development of the St John cult at the Prague Castle, first in relation to his grave and tombs and later, in the 1720s, in relation to beatification and canonisation. The Castle also became the place of a "theatrical" depiction of John's grave in a small room under the staircase of Louis's wing of the Royal Palace.
