A study on the Cubist work of Antonín Procházka is based on the argument that the Cubist painter's concern was an eternal law which he found first in moral issues (Prometheus), then in geometry (Cubism in 1912-1913), the auras of objects (the so-called Orphism, 1915-1917), and finally in the concept of a picture as the totality of all senses. The article highlights the intellectual background of his Cubism (H. Bergson, R. Steiner, E. Swedenborg, etc.).
