Text dále pokračuje diskusí žánru ekfráze, detailním rozborem uvedené kapitoly a jejího vlivu na renesanční a barokní umění. Description in English The painting of "Children Eating Apples and Fighting for Them", recently ascribed to Karel Škréta, is shown to have been based on Philostratus ekphrasis of "Cupids" in his Imagines I.6. The article then offers a general discussion of the genre of ekphrasis as well as a detailed analysis of both the chapter in question and its influence on Renaissance and Baroque art.
