Interpretace motivu jako Paternitas s odkazem na Ž 2,7 a J 1,1, který se váže k zobrazení sv. Trojice, Zvěstování a Narození Krista. Možný je i výklad reliéfu jako zobrazení sv. Josefa s dítětem Ježíš ve smyslu sv. Rodiny.

Interpretation as God the Father with the Son, according Ps 2,7 and Joh. 1,1, the in the sense of Paternity or Annuntiation and Nativity of Christ. But it is not impossible to explan the sculptured group as St Joseph with Christ in the sense as Holy Family.
