Annotation
The in situ trapping of selenium hydride in a graphite furnace, followed by AAS detection was used for the determination of very low selenium content in biological samples. The method was validated using SRMs Seronorm, a lyophilised human serum, and NST 1573a tomato leaves. Bone samples of prehistoric human populations dated approximately 2500 B.C. and 2000 B.C. were analysed.
