    Nine synthetic food colourants in foodstuffs were determined by micellar capillary electrokinetic chromatography and liquid chromatography with UV-VIS diode-array detection. Limits of quantitation were 1.2-3.3 mg.l-1 for MEKC and 0.2-0.6 mg.l-1 for HPLC.
