Annotation
New results obtained recently in the study of isotropic photoinduced effects are described and discussed. The isotropic effects in binary systems such as As-S, Sb-S and in some ternary systems (As-Ga-S, As-Sb-S, Ge-Sb-S) are connected with changes of bond statistics and short range order not only in the case of irreversible changes but also in the case of reversible ones.
