    Samarium-doped Ge30Ga5Se65 glasses were synthesized and investigated.From the room temperature transmission spectra, experimentaloscillator strengths of five f-f electron transition and Judd-Ofeltintensity parameters of Sm3+ ions were determined. In the emissionspectra three luminiscence bands were observed and discussed.
