Research into the Czech borderland may be trendy, but i tis not in any way a problem that can be solved within a short period of time. The population of the Czech-Polish and Czech Slovak borderland zones are fully Avare of the different positron of the borderland from the Czech inland. Cross-border cooperation is perceived as a means of both making contacts with the neighbours and improving the local standard of living.
