The results of parliamentary elections in 1992 and 1996 are studied. Regional differences in electoral support for individual parties are described. The time-space stability of voting patterns is demonstrated both by maps and by statistical analysis. Changes in electoral support for then coalition parties and then parliamentary opposition parties are analyzed. Changes in voting patterns are interpreted in the relation to changes of regional patterns of unemployment and incomes.
