Sborník obsahuje celkem 5 příspěvků přednesených na stejnojmenném semináři konaném výzkumným týmem Politická sociologie Sociologického ústavu AV ČR v květnu 2001 v Senátu. Tým se již delší dobu provádí šetření v Parlamentu pomocí standardizovaných rozhovorů a v posledním z nich byla zařazena i tématika vztahu obou komor. Cílem bylo seznámit širší veřejnost s výsledky.

The proceedings contain five contributions presented at the workshop with the same name. The workshop was organised in the Senate in Prague by the Sociology in Politics team. The research group has been conducting surveys in the parliament regularly, using standardised interview forms In the fourth stage of the survey, there were presented questions related to the relationship of the two chambers. The workshop offered an opportunity to present findings to wider expert public.
