Příspěvek se soustřeďuje na postoje obyvatel českého pohraničí k Německu, jak se projevují v dlouhodobém sociologickém výzkumu. Zahrnuty jsou názory na vliv německé ekonomiky, kultury a politiky. Češi oceňují pokročilé charakteristiky německé společnosti, ale současně odmítají požadavky Sudetoněmeckého krajanského sdružení.

Attitudes of population of the Czech Borderland towards Germany.Main outputs of the longitudinal sociological research of opinion and attitudes of inhabitants of Czech Borderland towards German neighbourhood. Included are factors of economy, politics, culture etc. While on the one side the Czechs assess well advanced characteristcs of German society on the other side they mostly reject demands of the Sudetendeutsche Landsmannschaft.
