This study introduces basic models of voting behaviour - sociological, social-psychological model (or the model of party identification). The study recapitulatesthe hitherto findings related to the voting behaviour in the Czech Republic in the nineties. As well as the reasos leading to the application of the party identificationmodel to the analyses of voting behaviour. The analysis of voting behaviour is made on data obtained from 1996 and 1999 ISSP surveys. The influence of positive feelings on the elected party and negative feelings on the other parties were tested.
