AnnotationA new species of parasitic nematode, Spinitectus tabascoensis sp. nov., is described based on museum specimens recovered from the intestine of the blue catfish Ictalurus furcatus (Valenciennes) from the upper reaches of the Usumacinta River near Tenosique, Tabasco, southeastern Mexico.
