Annotation
The aim of the article is to indicate, that the process of globalisation, whether it is a controlled or rather spontaneous one, has its objective limits created by new particural interests of new or reborn, though old-fashioned, social elements fighting for fixing historically rooted and sometimes nearly lost identities. These elements usually operate and argue outside the newly fabricated "national" structures. The author tackles kinds of tentions among various components or bearers of local identities with a special stress on the situation in an Islamic space.
