Účelem článku je načrtnout historii kláštera augustiniánů kanovníků ve východočeském městě Lanškrouně a vydat edici čtyř dosud nepublikovaných dokumentů vztahujících se k jeho minulosti. Časové rozpětí je dáno založením kláštera na okraji Lanškrouna biskupem Petrem Jelitem v r. 1371 a odchodem kláštera (1421).

The purpose of this article is to outline the history of a convent of Lateran friars of St. Augustine in the East Bohemian town of Lanškroun and to present an edition of four yet unpublished documents regarding its past. The time span is marked by the founding of the monastery at the periphery of Lanškroun by Bishop Petr Jelito in 1371, and the departure of the convent (1421).
