    Distribution of the alpha subunit of the stimulatory G protein was analyzed in membrane and cytosolic fractions from the rat cortex, thalamus and hippocampus during postnatal development. In parallel, changes in beta-adrenoceptor density and adenylyl cyclase activity were determined.
