The electrical resistance of the supercooled PbBr2 melt has been studied. A theoretical model describing the temporal changes of resistance and taking into account the strong complex forming nature of halide melts has been elaborated. Resulats of theoretical calculation are compared with experimental data. Good agreement of the theory and the experiment allows one to conclude that measurement of resistance may be usefull to foloww the solidification of halide melts.
