Infrared reflectivity and Raman scattering spectra of LaBSiO_{5 glass and glass-crystal composites were studied. I was possible to assign the main spctral features. The structural disorder in LaBSiO}5 crystallites is caused by rotation of BO_{4 tetrahedra.
